The story
An idea from God
“Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.”
Proverbs 27:23
Prince
Founder & developer
This did not start as a product roadmap. It started as a prompting to help shepherds know the state of their flock. In many churches, Sunday comes and goes and no one can say with confidence who was present, who was absent, or who has not been seen in weeks.
Most of that work is still done by hand — notebooks, WhatsApp threads, and memory. The app was built to track the sheep: members’ welfare, attendance, and the visits that should follow, so care does not depend on who remembered.
Why it exists
A bacenta leader might know their people on the ground, but the picture rarely travels. Attendance sits in a book. An absentee is mentioned in a chat. A sick member is prayed for once and then lost in the scroll. By the time a pastor or coordinator asks, “Who missed Sunday?” the answer is incomplete.
State of the Flock exists so shepherds can see the same truth: who came, who did not, who is new, and who needs a visit. Welfare is not a side note. It is the work — follow-ups, visitations, and flags tied to a person, not to a group message that disappears.
The campaign still has structure — regions, bacentas, Sunday roll — but the point is pastoral. Know the flock. Look well to the herd. Then go after the one who is missing.
How I build it
I am the founder, the developer, and the person you will talk to. There is no product committee in front of you. When a church books a demo, I want that conversation to feel like a brother helping a church, not a sales funnel.
The work is still in my hands: the screens leaders use on Sunday, the way a coordinator returns a roll, the reports a pastor can trust. I would rather ship something faithful than something generic.
If this speaks to you
Write me about a demo, a partnership, or simply the story. Tell me about your church, your regions, and what you are trying to see more clearly. I read every note.
